PACE, Partial Certification for Lower and Medium Level Vocational Education
Gegenstand des EU-Projekts PACE (Partial Certification for Lower and Medium Level Vocational Training) ist die Entwicklung und Implementierung von innovativen Teilqualifizierungsangeboten für am Arbeitsmarkt benachteiligte Personen wie z. B. Langzeitarbeitslose, Menschen mit Behinderung, Migranten, Berufsrückkehrer.
Ausgehend von einer Bestandsanalyse zur Struktur der beruflichen Ausbildung, einschließlich vorhandener Teilqualifizierungangebote, in den am Projekt beteiligten Ländern Niederlande, Spanien, Großbritannien, Rumänien, Slowenien und Deutschland, werden Richtlinien und Handlungsempfehlungen zur Entwicklung und Zertifizierung teilqualifizierender Lehrgänge in den Berufsfeldern kaufmännische Berufe/ Verwaltung und Informations- und Kommunikationstechnik (IuK) erarbeitet.
Die Projektarbeit teilt sich auf nationaler Ebene daher in einen wissenschaftlich untersuchenden Teil zu den Rahmenvorgaben des deutschen Bildungs- und Ausbildungssystems, der schwerpunktmäßig vom FTB bearbeitet wird und einen entwickelnden, curricular-didaktischen Teil, der schwerpunktmäßig von der akamedia als Bildungsträger im Bereich Neue Medien durchgeführt wird.

Abstract
PACE, Partial Certification for Lower and Medium Level Vocational Education
The EU-Project PACE is concerned with the development and implementation of innovative measures of partial qualification for people who are disadvantaged at the labour market. These are e.g. long-term unemployed, people with disabilities, migrants, job-returnees.
Starting with an in depth survey and field research of the structure of vocational education and certicfication practice in the participating countries Netherlands, Spain, United Kingdom, Romania, Slovenia and Germany, guidelines for the certification process and for partial certificates in the vocational sectors of buisiness administration (BA) and information and communication technology (ICT) will be developed.
The national project activities are divided into a research part regarding the specifications of the german VET-System covered chiefly by FTB and a developping, curricular-didactic part which is mainly covered by akamedia as an educational institution in the field of new media.
